Health Department
The Peach County Health Department located in Fort Valley provides programs and services to protect the health and well being of everyone in the county. These include disease prevention, environmental protection, health monitoring, health promotion, health care access, and emergency preparedness and response.
The health department is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The office is closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. Flu shots are given daily between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Most service fees are based on a sliding scale and a flat fee is charged for some services. Please call for fee schedules. No one is denied service due to an inability to pay.
